While we would love for all of our loved ones to join us, we understand that not everyone will be able to attend for many reasons, whether it be time, budget, health, or other obligations. If you do know you will not be attending, please feel free to let us know as soon as possible, or if only a part of your party is likely to attend, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We do not expect everyone to attend and love you all regardless!
The Registry
Many of you are traveling across the globe to celebrate with us in Italy, so your presence at our wedding celebration is truly gift enough. While we truly don’t need anything, we understand that some of you may wish to give us a gift. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon wishing well at the reception would be warmly received or if you would prefer to surprise us with something more personal, our registry is listed below if you’d like some guidance.
Our Story
Welcome to our love story, a tale sprinkled with digital sparks, globe-trotting adventures, and an infinite amount of romance!
It all started with a swipe right on a dating app called Hinge in June 2020. Little did we know that this swipe would lead us to the beginning of a journey of a lifetime. We quickly moved from exchanging messages to sharing laughs and dreams over countless SnapChat video chats. By August 14, 2020, we were ready to take the plunge and meet in person. Our first date at Winnemac Park during an ideal warm summer night, set the stage for many more dates to come. We both enjoyed exploring museums, zoos, and other attractions all over Chicago. By November 21, 2020, we were officially a couple, a date we will treasure forever.
Our love story is filled with adventures both locally and internationally. In late August 2021, we embarked on our first major trip to the enchanting island of Oahu in Hawaii, marking the beginning of our journey as travel companions. By our one-year anniversary in November 2021, we were soaking up the sun in Los Cabos, Mexico, and by March 2022, we had taken the big leap of moving in together.
The plot thickened when our families met over delicious Greek cuisine at Psistaria in the Chicago suburb of Lincolnwood in June 2022. Our love for travel took us next to the picturesque landscapes of Austria in August 2022, followed by a vibrant trip to Jamaica by our second anniversary in November of that year.
But the grandest chapter was yet to be written. In late August 2023, we ventured to Italy, where the romantic streets of Rome and the stunning Amalfi Coast awaited us. It was in Positano, on September 2, 2023, against the backdrop of breathtaking views, that we decided to embark on our forever journey together.
Our engagement was celebrated with another getaway to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in November 2023, amongst other trips across the US visiting family and friends. Each journey, each destination brought us closer, weaving our lives together in the most beautiful way.
And so, as lovers of adventure and each other, a destination wedding was the only fitting climax to our story. We can't wait to celebrate this new beginning with our nearest and dearest, in true wanderlust spirit. After all, there's no better way to start our forever than surrounded by love, laughter, and a little bit of wanderlust!
